Hi, if the seller doesn't want you to drive with his plates you have a problem. There are official export liscense plates (but they aren't cheap, think you need RDW/APK for those). But they car will need to have TUV (APK). But this car hasn't TUV as it is running on calssic red-white plates. Next ch...

Make sure it either has a german Title or an US-Title with customspaperwork (in german: Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung).

If so there are no customs and duties to be paid due to the european community.
